Who we are
Our story
ESD Parents United started because when our children's well-being is on the line, we realized that staying quiet was no longer an option. The 7:20 AM start time was the spark, but it woke something up. Parents who'd never been to a board meeting started showing up. Parents who'd never organized anything started building something.
We're not a political organization and we aren't doing this to sell anything. We're real parents, some with kids already in the affected schools, others with kids not due to start kindergarten for another year or two, who refuse to let this indefensible decision stand unchallenged.
Edmonds parents have needed a platform that's actually by parents, for parents, for a long time. This is us building it.

What we're asking for
No Edmonds student should start before 8 AM. That's it. One community, one ask.
How we work
This site, the research behind it, and the effort to organize around it are entirely volunteer-run by parents donating their time alongside full-time jobs and their own kids' schedules. We rely on public comment, public meetings, and public records, not insider access, to make our case.
