This decision isn't final. Our children don't have a voice in the boardroom or in the study sessions. We need to be their voice.
Real change can happen, but only if enough people do something. Public pressure works. Here's exactly what you can do to make yourself heard loud and clear.

Sign the Petition
Every signature is a data point the board can't ignore. If you haven't signed yet, start here – then share with your family, friends, and neighbors.

Spread the Word
Share the petition and the site on social media, and bring it up in person, at school pickup, at your kid's soccer game, with neighbors who haven't heard yet. Many Edmonds families still don't know this is happening, or don't know their own school is affected. The larger and more united this community is walking into next year, the harder it is to dismiss.

Write a Letter to a Board Member
A personal letter carries real weight. It's a direct, individual message from a constituent. Pick a current board member and send a short note in your own words about why this matters to your family.

Submit a Written Comment
Public comment becomes part of the official record and is read by every board member. Use our template as a starting point, then make it yours, personal stories carry more weight than repeated talking points.

Attend a Board Meeting
Showing up matters, even if you don't speak. A packed room sends its own message.

Connect with Elected Officials
City councils across the district, including Edmonds, Lynnwood, and Mountlake Terrace for the affected schools, can put public pressure on the board, and state legislators can weigh in too. Bring the issue to whichever officials represent you.
